Oculus IP showed growth in 2017 despite the fact that the year was filled with economic uncertainty packed with trials and tribulations for many, if not all companies and businesses. Oculus IP would like to welcome back all of our current and potentially new clients and partners after the 2017 festive season.
Oculus IP as a company in the current economic climate has proven that through testing times, success and growth is possible if you have the right formula and dedicated individuals that unwaveringly apply themselves to the progression of your company. A company is nothing without its loyal clients and for this loyalty and support, we would like to extend our gratitude. We look forward to providing you with the highest standard of support and service you have come to know from Oculus IP and also wish you a prosperous and most successful 2018.
But what made it possible that Oculus IP could show actual growth in 2017? What allowed us to come out on top? Here are some of the factors that contributed to our success in the past year.
Firstly, our staff contingent grew substantially as we hired specialized individuals in key roles to ensure that our clients’ needs stay top priority and also improve our already excellent reputation in the IP marketplace. This was important not only to sustain our reputation but to take Oculus IP from strength to strength in 2018. In the olden days, people were surprised when they did not receive good service and today people are surprised when they actually do. We take our service ethics very seriously and will continue to do so going forward into the New Year.
In 2017, we acquired 12 new high sites (radio towers), significantly expanding our wireless coverage footprint. This expansion means that we can now reach more clients that have the necessity for unmatched, crystal clear VoIP solutions and lightning fast Fibre quality wireless connectivity. The acquisition of our new high sites also means that we now cover the whole of the Cape Peninsula. This also further established Oculus IP as a powerhouse in the IP marketplace in the Western Cape.
Growth does not come without its challenges though, and here at Oculus IP, we embrace any challenge presented to us. For instance, we were faced with the installation and implementation of a Fibre and VoIP solution in a massive factory in Blackheath Industria. The requirement was for 50 Internet users as well as 58 cordless handsets. The main challenge was that the company works with sheet metal that affects signals of handsets. After rigorous testing to ensure that there would be no blind spots when moving around the factory from one section to the next, we put down 12 multicellular base stations providing full coverage throughout the factory. This meant that any particular handset could seamlessly switch from base to base maintaining the active call as the user traverses the factory floor.
Let Oculus IP surprise you with service in 2018 and get you connected to world-class VoIP, Fibre and wireless connectivity today.
