This process begins in the planning step, where we need to identify and acquire strategic locations to gain maximum coverage and ensure optimal communication between towers. This ensures a tightly interwoven mesh of powerful coverage within our wireless network, whilst maximising our reach.
The first step is to determine viability for a link. The location will be geographically plotted into our system and a theoretical line of site will be checked to potential entry points. making sure no obvious geographical obstacles like hills and large buildings block the way. If this step is passed, we will dispatch a team of installers to first perform a Physical survey to confirm Line of sight. Making sure that there are no potential external factors or hindrances that we could not foresee during theoretical planning. (Tall trees or new buildings obstructing the plotted route) Only if all these quality checks are approved will we proceed to install.
Our wireless field Technicians are highly qualified, not only in the sophisticated equipment they are installing, but in all required rope access and safety regulation qualifications. Our teams are also highly skilled in clean and precise mounting of external equipment and neat cable runs, resulting in unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing fitment.
After this step, the rigorous process of fine tuning the alignment to get the best possible signal, and finally making sure that the signal transmission is on a clean bandwidth with minimal interference. All of the above steps might sound simple but are integral to creating and maintaining the high standard wireless link that you have come to expect from Oculus IP.
